Terms of Service

Kymac · Shelf Co · Last updated: September 17, 2026

These terms govern use of Kymac websites and Shelf Co products, including shelf-smoke prepaid API credits for automated URL smoke checks at https://shelf.kymac.co. By using the services — as a human or an automated client — you agree to these terms.

1. The service

shelf-smoke lets you (or software acting for you) purchase prepaid credits and spend them on URL smoke checks. Results are machine-readable. We may change, throttle, or discontinue features. v0 is a working product, not a guaranteed SLA.

2. Accounts and API keys

You are responsible for keys issued to you, for traffic sent with those keys, and for the target URLs you submit. Keep secrets secret. We may revoke keys that look compromised, abusive, or unpaid.

3. Credits and payment

Credits are prepaid. Successful smokes debit credits as described in the product docs. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. Credits are not legal tender, have no cash value, and are generally non-refundable except where law requires otherwise. Test-mode packs are for testing only.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to attack, scan, or burden systems you are not allowed to test; to break the law; or to evade rate limits or payment. We may refuse or terminate access for abuse.

5. Your content

You retain rights in URLs and data you submit. You grant us a limited license to process that data to run the service (including logging enough to meter credits and debug failures).

6. Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is.” We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy of smoke results, or fitness for a particular purpose. You decide whether a result is good enough for your workflow.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Kymac is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or credits beyond the amount you paid us for the service in the 30 days before the claim.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why.

9. Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version at this URL. Continued use after the “Last updated” date means you accept the new terms.
